artist statement
My artwork is an expression of who I am in the moment. Each piece reflects the many qualities I value from being creative, curious and adventurous to being bold and playful. Painting is meditative to me.
It is truly bliss.
I approach the canvas with a design, color or texture in mind. From there, I allow the painting to unfold.
There are no boundaries, limitations or judging.
There is only freedom to choose, to combine colors and designs that reflect the moment, to add texture where it is not expected and to surprise the eye of the beholder.
